Nourish our community. 

Food is central to what we do at Ross Creek, both for our own programs and how we integrate our cultural programs with food security and community connection. We are looking for someone who can work full time and invest in the food part of what we do – feeding artists, campers and staff, while working with community to make it stronger, and to mentor volunteers and youth.

Please note: A love of cooking essential – formal training not required though lovely.

Rate: $35,000-$38,500 to start depending on level of experience

Benefits: Co-pay health & dental package, creative renewal, etc.

Type of Employment: salaried, onsite work with  flexible schedule to accommodate events and performances.

Eco-Educator/Property Manager

Connect our community with nature and keep our bees a-buzzing!

Do you care about our natural world and want to pass on that passion and knowledge to our community? Do you have skills in the garden and/or with light repairs or trail building? Have you imagined yourself in a place where you can combine your passion for community with hands on action to make something more beautiful, accessible, and sustainable? Combine eco-education with collaborative care of our facilities and grounds maintenance, including our gardens and bees (training provided).  Experience or education:  environmental science, sustainable forestry,  organic farm or trades with a passion for nature and passing on that knowledge. Lived experience welcome.

Camp Jobs!

From Counsellors to Rec Director to Camp Director, we have fabulous jobs to make summer incredibly special both for you and for your campers. 

Working at camp gives you incredible skills that can serve you in any job in the future – leadership, flexibility and imagination, creative thinking, organisation, compassion and a sense of play.

We are looking for youth between 18-30 who love the arts, care about making great experiences for kids and who want to spend the summer in a fabulous and beautiful location surrounded by artists and nature. 

Must be able to work in Canada 

Salaries:  depending on position, paid weekly. 
Camp Counsellors: $542.50/week
Rec Director: $577.50/week
Camp Director: $595/Week

Benefits: All Food and Accommodation while working at camp, program discounts, and more!

Term: Summer 2024, April (Camp Leaders) or end of June (Camp Counsellors) through August

Visitor Services/ Box Office

Job Description:

Working with a great team, the Visitor Service Coordinator and the Box Office Manager  will be the front-line staff welcoming camp families, audiences, artists and visitors to Ross Creek. From the moment you pick up the phone, email or personally welcome someone, you are an ambassador for the theatre and the centre. You will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the whole Ross Creek community. Responsible for taking and coordination registrations for camp, and box office bookings for the theatre, managing the box office for all shows and ensuring the comfort and safety of patrons and guests, you will also work with our marketing committee to engage our community. They are exciting and meaningful position that have a huge impact on the position of Ross Creek and Two Planks in the community’s imagination.

Please note, preference for  coop student, but open to other students returning to school in September. 

Fields of Study: Public Relations, Arts, Business, Theatre, Visual Arts, Management

Term: Summer 2024, April through August

Rate: $595/ week
