Visitor Services

I am very excited to join the Ross Creek team for the summer as the Visitor Service Coordinator. I was born in Mexico City and lived there all my life until last summer when I relocated to the Annapolis Valley with my husband and two sons. I feel so grateful for being able to live in such a beautiful place, where every day -and every season- I am amazed by the beauty of the land.

I have graduate studies in Psychology and a background working in Education in Mexico City. My love for organizing processes and creating systems that make life easier has led me to work on the administrative side of things. I am thrilled to be able to help make the magic happen this summer at Ross Creek!

Accounting

Hi! I am a student at Acadia University, working towards a career in Accounting. Numbers and data have always been a passion of mine since high school. I love working with them to produce results, solve problems, and create clarity.

I am currently in my first work term for Acadia’s co-op program, through which I found out about Ross Creek. Ross Creek, being in the arts industry, stood out from other companies, and I am thrilled that I got the opportunity to apply my classroom learning in my first office-based role here.

Being new to the arts scene, I have many new and exciting things to experience this summer, and I look forward to making a difference in my four-month journey here.

Gardener

Hello! I am a professional visual artist and gig gardener who is in the process of relocating to Canning from New Brunswick. I am very excited to be working as the gardener at Ross Creek this summer! I am passionate about local food, sustainable agriculture practices, and eating.

When I am not in the garden, I can be found making paintings, drawings and weavings as part of my art practice, repairing my house, walking my dogs or helping my partner run his small-scale popsicle business. I will be in the garden every morning this summer – please stop in to say hello!
