HELP ROSS CREEK CREATE A FUTURE AS BRIGHT AS OUR PAST
Ross Creek Centre for the Arts is a unique cultural institution dedicated to multidisciplinary, multigenerational, arts and cultural education and experiences. Two Planks and a Passion Theatre is our resident professional theatre company, with a separate operating budget and mission. Together, we operate under the umbrella of the CoastArts Association, a non-profit charity.
Last September, we finished our third summer season since COVID began. We celebrated the live theatre of Two Planks and expanded our camps. We brought back our community programs and hosted artists in residence. We expanded our community gardens and started renovations on a new space.
In 2023, we’ll open The Ross Creek Annex, a multi-functional space renovated just for us and you! The new building will allow us to reach more people through community-focused programming and partnerships. We can’t wait to bring you concerts, readings, and after-school programs. Located in downtown Canning, the Annex ensures that arts and culture are truly central to all our lives.
Your donation makes it possible for Ross Creek and Two Planks to continue our essential work, and supports current and future artists in telling their stories. With your help, we will continue to build a future of sustainable and inspired creativity for all ages, in and through the arts.
Together, we can feed the community, both body and soul.
You can direct your donation to Ross Creek or Two Planks, to support specific areas of our work, or to wherever it is most needed.
You can also make a gift In Honour Of or In Memory Of a special person, and know that your support will help us achieve our mission for the next 30 years!
You can create a legacy by making a planned gift or naming a part of Ross Creek!

What does it mean to donate “wherever most needed”?
Each season is unique and donating wherever most needed gives both Two Planks and a Passion Theatre and Ross Creek the flexibility to ensure we are able to use your donation where it is needed most.
What is the RJ Owen Bursary Fund?
Our first board president, Richard Owen was dedicated to providing opportunities to children living in poverty. The RJ Owen fund was begun by his family and AGF, and we annually collect and distribute bursary funds to ensure access to our programs in his name. All money donated to this fund enables kids to come to camps each year based on financial need. You’ll hear how camps have gone for the kids each season!
What is the Artist Angel Fund?
Ross Creek provides artists with space and time to create new work, whether in visual arts, writing, theatre or other disciplines. We provide residencies that bring artists together with our community and the Angel Fund ensures artists without financial means can be at Ross Creek to develop their art. You can designate a specific medium (Textiles or writing, for example) or allow us to apply it to the artists most in need. You will hear about the work created during their residency and be invited to meet them!
