I Just finished two weeks of work on two different projects involving 14 artists at Ross Creek, and I’m holding auditions for our 2021 Summer season.
I’m still processing that I am actually working. The steps are tentative. The future is uncertain. But the things we are learning through this difficult time are finding their way into our rehearsal hall and our work.

I have rarely been so aware of how important the ensemble at Two Planks has been to my life. Sometimes the artists we work with really represent an extended family, and over the last year that family have been hurting. But we are hanging together, looking to the future and caring for one another. We’re holding each other to promises made and supporting one another to be the best humans we can be.

That’s all I can ask for.

I know I can’t see the future. But I can see the present more clearly, if I remember everything we’ve been through. That’s a gift.
