flow states: conversations with Water
Monica Lacey

October 1-December 5, 2023
Lacey is a Canadian/Italian, Epekwitk/PEI-based, multidisciplinary visual artist, writer, curator, and educator. She has been creating work at Ross Creek for a number of years in residencies and this show reflects her focus on curiosity, connection, and communication, and includes pieces developed through a combination of underwater photography, AI, encaustic, and watercolour.
Lacey’s work connects nature and ideas of home and belonging and moments of change and liminality, and this exhibit reflects work inspired by or created in her time on the land at Ross Creek.
Opens on October 1 at 1 pm, with the artist in attendance.
Artist talk October 1 at 1:30 pm.
Show runs to December 5.
Visitors are welcome at Ross Creek to view the exhibit at no cost.
