Ross Creek Centre for the Arts is a unique cultural institution dedicated to multidisciplinary, multigenerational, arts and cultural education and experiences. Two Planks and a Passion Theatre is our resident theatre, with a separate operating budget and mission. Together we operate under the umbrella of the CoastArts Association, a non-profit charity.
This year, we finished our third summer season since COVID began. We celebrated the live theatre of Two Planks and a Passion and expanded our camps. We brought back our community programs and hosted artists in residence. We expanded our community gardens and started renovations on a new space.
Recently, we’ve opened The Ross Creek Annex, a multi functional space renovated just for us and you! The new space will allow us to reach more people through community-focused programming and partnerships. We can’t wait to bring you more concerts, readings, and afterschool programs. Located in downtown Canning, the Annex ensures that arts and culture are truly central to all our lives.
With your donation, you help make it possible for Ross Creek and Two Planks to continue our essential work in so many ways, and to support current and future artists in telling their stories. We will continue to work toward a future with you for sustainable and inspired creativity for all ages, in and through the arts.
Together, we can feed the community, both body and soul.
You can direct your donation to Ross Creek or Two Planks, to specific parts of our work, or to wherever it is most needed.
You can also make a gift In Honour Of or In Memory Of a special person, and know that your support will help us achieve our mission for the next 30 years!
We’re also always looking for volunteers both local and from abroad, to help with all aspects of Ross Creek, from youth camp counsellors in training to gardening. Check out our Volunteer page and reach out to us to express your interest!
