Check out this convenient collection of info, FAQs, and more about the current season of Two Planks and a Passion Theatre!

Except in extreme situations, the decision to cancel or proceed with a performance will not generally be made earlier than an hour before showtime. The House Management will make every effort to contact all patrons who have purchased tickets for that particular performance. Should the weather be uncertain at an hour before, final evaluation of the weather conditions will be made 30 minutes prior to showtime by staff. Patrons will be able to exchange tickets for an alternate performance. Due to Covid protocols we will not be able to offer indoor performances in the case of rain this year. Please see HERE for Covid-19 exceptions.

Extreme weather includes thunder, lightning or downpour. Mist & light rain are not considered extreme. We do suggest wearing layers and bringing sun hats, rain jackets, extra layers – whatever will keep you comfortable.

There are no refunds for rain dates- exchanges only, credits for future shows, or conversion into a donation.

Seating is general admission, on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is on bleachers.
Layered clothing is advised. We provide you with a blanket, and you can pre-book a stadium seat that provides you with extra back support – these can also be used on the benches.
Seating will be in compliance with the latest public health recommendations. Please see here for up-to-date details:

Seating is limited by our labour agreement, therefore personal lawn chairs cannot be permitted in the theatre area. Special Seating for people with limited mobility is available to a limited number of patrons who need it per show. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require wheelchair access or have special seating requirements.

Audience members are required to wear a face mask when inside the centre only.

Latecomers will be seated at a suitable break in the performance by our staff.

Special Seating Requirements
Please let us know at the time of booking, if you require wheelchair access, or have special seating requirements.

While we discourage pets from coming to the centre during camp and performances, in normal years we do offer a dog sitting service for those who cannot leave their dogs at home. No more than two dogs per night, and no aggressive, loud or nervous dogs will be allowed to use this service. We will walk your dog, play with them away from the camp and theatre area and treat them to a fun romp in the field. If you would like this option, please prebook on our ticket order form or call our box office. Please bring a leash, water and food dish and any treats your dog likes. We do reserve the right to refuse a dog. No dogs may be left in the cars unattended.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the show. This will allow enough time to park and assemble prior to  performance.

PLEASE CHECK IN AT THE BOX OFFICE when you arrive, then you are welcome to tour through our gardens and the galleries, get a snack or a glass of wine, and play bocce and croquet before the show.
Please note, the show is a short walk away from the centre, so we advise coming early and wearing walking shoes.

Our picnic area opens 1.5 hours before the shows. Our own picnics begin serving one hour before, with a fabulous menu which must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance. There will be beverages and treats available at intermission and pre-show.

We have dedicated partners, and local business supporters who are vital to our work. While some of them haven’t been able to operate during the pandemic, some are offering revisions to their work, and we hope that you will continue to support them and enjoy their wonderful offerings. Feel free to as at the Box Office for recommendations of where to eat, stay, and explore while you are visiting the valley!

We thank you for your patience and support! We can offer two options for any ticket holders: you are welcome to keep your tickets and we will will honour them for the current productions, or you can ask us to convert them to a donation.
Please contact us to let us know which you would prefer.

While the public health restrictions have lifted (as of this writing), there are still cases all around us, and the smooth operation of our theatre and programs at Ross Creek mean that we have to maintain some safety measures until things are safer for out staff, artists, the youth in our care, and the community.

We are continually following any updates in guidelines, and if things change, in our community, we will update this page and reach out to anyone affected.

The 2022 Season is being planned with patron safety and comfort both top of mind. While we are no longer distancing, we are asking for all patrons to wear masks when inside out building, and we can provide masks for those who do not have them. While there is no outdoor mask requirement, we do ask for kindness and consideration of those who choose to be masked.
