From 2018 to 2022, Dalhousie researcher Karen Foster has been interviewing the proprietors of independent rural businesses about succession and the future of rural life. Part of the project entailed documentary photography of interview participants at work (by photographer Connie Tsang). This exhibition will feature highlights from each interview, a short research talk and Q&A by Dr. Foster, and light refreshments. All are welcome.

We're bringing back our Community Arts Sunday! Join us for a celebration of culture, art, food, and nature. In collaboration with Nature for Newcomers, Flying Squirrel Adventures, and Nature Canada, we’re hosting an all-ages day of adventure and wonder. Come take a guided tour of Takashi Hilferink's gallery exhibit and explore our Acadian Forest on a guided nature hike. Make art inspired by our landscape and the work in the gallery. Then, try multicultural food from near and far. Admission is by donation, with a suggestion of $15 per family or $5 per person
