March Break Day Camp
Ages 4-7 – explore themes through science, drama, music and art!
Please note that all of our Junior programs are now full for March Break 2023. We do have a waiting list here. Please include your name and your child’s name and age, and which programs you would like to be on the wait list for.
At Ross Creek we provide an amazing art day taught by professional artists and a great camp experience for kids on our 178 acres of field and forest, led by our fabulous counsellors. Whether searching for the Creekster, creating a masterpiece or making new friends, our camps have something for every kid!
Kids can come for a day or for the whole week of adventure and art.
Please note, we do take 4 year olds if they seem ready for a full day and are close to turning 5.
Monday
Petite Picassos
Our youngest campers will roll up their sleeves and we dive into painting, collage, sculpture and more in this fun camp inspired by the works of modern artists – and the cultures that inspired them!
Tuesday
A Bug’s Life
We’ll get out our magnifying glasses and our imaginations as we explore bugs and insects through art! Drawing inspiration from real insects, we will create our own creatures and imagine some amazing habitats!
Wednesday
Forest Friends
Meet our favourite Forest Friends while exploring the trails of Ross Creek with our Eco-Educator Ted Morris! We’ll collect natural materials from our woodland ecosystem and and make art and stories about the animals (big and small) that make this place their home.
Thursday
Preposterous Puppets!
We’ll explore amazing puppets from around the world and then make our own preposterous ones, and invent amazing stories and sets for them!
Friday
Tiny Town
We’ll create our own tiny towns! With art, architecture and storytelling, we’ll explore and make maps and models of our best imaginary towns!
